This work is rooted in the belief that every body has the capacity to
change. The role here is not to fix — but to guide.
Each session is built on:
• Integrity of care
• Deep listening
• Respect for your body’s wisdom
• Clear and compassionate boundaries
Structural Integration is the primary focus because it creates meaningful, lasting transformation in how people stand, move, and inhabit their lives. Massage remains an integral offering — versatile, restorative, and responsive to what your body needs in the moment.
The intention is to create a space where curiosity meets precision, and where discovery is supported by skill.

Ivelisse Rivera is an ATSI-certified Structural Integration practitioner based in Marshall, North Carolina, serving clients throughout Madison County and the greater Asheville area.
She founded Wise Body Structural Integration from a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and capacity for change. Her work is rooted in the belief that posture, movement, and long-held tension patterns can reorganize when the fascial system is addressed with precision and care.
Ivelisse began her professional path studying yoga and anatomy before completing her massage therapy training at the Western North Carolina School of Massage, where she also earned certification in neuromuscular therapy and trigger point work. Her desire to work more systemically with posture and structural balance led her to pursue Structural Integration.
She completed her Structural Integration training through Anatomy Trains and studied directly with Tom Myers, a leader in fascial research and human movement science. Tom Myers is an Advanced Certified Rolfer who studied with Dr. Rolf’s original faculty before mapping the Anatomy Trains myofascial lines that connect us head to toe. Ivi’s ATSI certification builds on Rolf’s original Ten Series with an expanded twelve-session approach.
This education informs her work with a strong understanding of fascia, biomechanics, and whole-body structural relationships.
Structural Integration is the primary focus of her practice. Through a progressive series of sessions, she works with the connective tissue system to support lasting change in posture, chronic pain patterns, movement efficiency, and overall structural organization.
Clients seeking Structural Integration or fascia-based bodywork near Asheville often find her after exploring massage, chiropractic care, or physical therapy. Her role is not to “fix,” but to guide — helping clients rediscover their natural alignment and relationship to gravity.
Each session is tailored to the individual’s structure, history, and goals. Her approach is collaborative, precise, and grounded in deep listening and professional integrity.
